Hand Smocked Dress
Full skirt with full netting.
Smocked bodice with stretch.
Brown dress with white polka dots, and black line ovals surrounding the white dots.
Color can be seen best where dress is hanging on wood door, and label close-up.
Black velvet trim on sleeves.
Rear button closure with sash tie.
All 6 buttons present.  2 black buttons on the sleeves, and 4 buttons on the back.

CONDITION
Dress in good condition.
One owner, Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dress was a gift to the owner in the 1960s.  She recalls wearing it just a few times.  Exact year, she does not remember.
I do not see any stains.
The netting has approximately 20 snags. Example, photo 10.
Dress is very well made.
Overall, the dress is in good well-cared-for condition.
