Description
This is a poofy girl's vintage party dress from (I am pretty sure) the 1960s. There is a huge bow in the back and a pleated cummberbund in the front. It features a bottom, white slip layer, an aqua layer, a netting layer and a sheer layer of organza over the whole skirt. Yes, the organza is yellowed and there are a few spots under the collar of the dress. For those reasons, I am giving this beautiful dress a lower price than perfect pieces of its age. It is a great garment for a design student to study. It would also make a perfect costume if your theater is doing "Ruthless" or "Gypsy" (Baby June) or any period piece that features a child actress. It measures app. 13" across under the arm seam and app. 11 1/2" across at the waist. The skirt is almost 25" long. There are no tags in this garment. I am going to say it is all acetate. The fabric is still strong. I have washed, starched and ironed this dress so it is ready for you. As with any vintage garment, it has been worn and stored away. I did my best to make it "new" for you, but it is sold as is. Winner to pay shipping and handling. I accept Paypal. All sales are final please. Ask any questions or request pictures before bidding. I am happy to provide any information that I may have missed in the item description. Thanks for looking.
