    Description

    This Early Victorian baby dress is white cotton, the bodice has a scooped neckline, it's trimmed with tiny pleats and embroidered edging. No fastenings down the back, the skirt has tiny cartridge styled pleats.  It is all hand stitched, it has a couple of tiny holes on the shoulders, it was pinned to a hanger when I got it, a very small repair on the back of the bodice and a few very light small pin dot spots so it needs a gentle soaking. I think it's sturdy enough if you have a baby you want to wear it, or it's perfect for a doll. It measures  about 24 inches around the chest by the time you put some snaps in back and it's 20 1/2 inches long.
