Not just any arrow can be made to work on the Umarex AirJavelin. The AirJavelin's arrows are Carbon Fiber shafts that are strong enough to handle the high-pressure blast that propels them at over 300 fps. This six-pack of arrows comes with 50-grain field tips installed and will accept standard and mechanical broad heads for hunting small game.

AirJavelin arrows are engineered for strength sufficient to handle extremely high CO2 pressure. Arrows for bows and crossbows are not strong enough to withstand the high CO2 pressure and can explode when pressurized. This can cause serious injury to the shooter and bystanders.
