Shakuhachi Zen Flute

Description

2.1 Jinashi style Shakuhachi, base pitch B. Made from 28 year old Madame bamboo (one of the last few pieces I still have of this perfectly aged bamboo). Inside bore slightly modified for pitch and sound then coated with non toxic, non allergic very hard drying lacquer. Outside coated with several layers of dark red/brown urushi. Blowing edge, Utagushi, water buffalo inlay.
The flute has a full and well balanced sound over 2.5 octaves, very responsive and easy to play. Flute has a deep and full sound.
