Route planning is child's play with the multifunctional Navigator VI. The system with 16 GB of flash memory and a five-inch touchscreen always shows the way. Thanks to the circular polarization filter (CPOL), the waterproof display can be easily read even in direct sunlight. The high-resolution screen in a smartphone-like housing provides all the essential information and provides the necessary overview in every situation. Numerous additional functions make planning and tours an exciting experience. Routes can be created according to personal preferences in order to enjoy journeys on winding and low-traffic secondary routes. On unfamiliar terrain, there is the "round trip" option, which at the end reliably leads you back to the starting point. The Bluetooth connection to the BMW Motorrad communication system and the optional Smartphone Link app enable pure multimedia on the go: navigation announcements, phone calls and music streaming as well as calling up weather forecasts or traffic jam information are no problem. With the navigation preparation, additional functions such as "My Motorcycle" are available, alternatively, control via the multi-controller on the handlebar is possible. Anyone who has opted for the preinstalled map data is always up to date thanks to the free, lifelong map updates.
