FRENCH BAPTISM CHRISTENING WHITE ANTIQUE GOWN BABY DRESS DRESS or BISQUE DOLL
Another Antique French Baby Baptism / Christening Dress circa early/first part of  1900's.
A truly darling nice cotton child's dress from France
I bought this several years ago on one of my trips to France.
The workmanship is lovely with all its lace and it is white/off white in color.
Wonderful for your Antique Bisque doll or for a Baptismal / Christening baby dress.
It is made of Cotton having a intricate smaller lace collar and much more
lace at base along with surroundings on dress as shown.
A small belt buttons at back. Inside there is a # 3 in red
The buttons at front look to be Mother of Pearl.
Issue:  There is tiny hole on right side shoulder the size of a pencil eraser.
Another minor one in front about 6" down from Shoulder area.
Issue:  Belt is frayed a little at each end.
Issue:  Each sleeve someone stitched them shorter and can be made longer by removing the stitches.
Issue:   There are minor stains markings about four at base at back & one inside minor.
and looks like they could be easily taken off-they appear like tiny lines-4 total.
Issue:  Yellow stain on front see photos please. If I missed anything please realize this is very old but
very usable and a lovely precious French baby dress and remains charming and still in good condition for its age.
The dress has lovely lace  and clean.
Measurements taken laying down:
From top of shoulder to base 29" long.
Arms from top stitching at shoulder to base is approx. 9" long. laying down. Can be made longer as someone stitched them shorter.
Small belt at back is 6 1/4" long.
