when I first got this, it didn't work the way I thought it should, I contacted the company and they said they had upgraded the spine tester, but I received a older model. Coops bow smith offered to send me the upgrades free of charge. The Teflon slide mechanism has been changed to a roller bearing set up, no play no slop works perfectly and accurately.
This is the easiest tool to locate and measure deflection quickly and accurately.
I make wood shafts and also use it on carbon shafts. Worth every penny!
