Antique Victorian Jet Beaded Mantle Capelet / Collar for Dress

Description

Victorian jet bead collar from the late 1890's to 1900s. It is black silk with a small stand up collar with all jet beading. The bottom has looped beaded fringe. Inside is lined with black silk. There is a an area of shredding on the lining. There are  hooks and thread loops. The silk edge of the cloth loop is rough but should not be seen when closed.
The first 3 pictures is how it looked best with the eye hooks at the back. I had the eye hooks on the front  and it did not lay completely flat.
Shown on form with 12.5 inch. Length of collar is  10 inches. Looped fringe is 2.5 inches.
Condition is very good. A few looped fringes missing but you really cannot tell unless thread is still there.  Silk edge behind  where eye loops are, are rough, not seen when closed.  A  area of inside lining is shredding about 2.5 x 1.5 area.
