Antique Victorian Edwardian White Cotton Bodice with Pin Tucks, Embroidery

Description

Lovely white cotton bodice from the late 1890's to early 1900's. It has a stand up collar that has button holes, 2 in front and 1 at the back for a more decorated collar. Across the yoke at both front and back is columns of 3 rows of tiny narrow pin tucks which stop at the 3/4 inch embroidered trim. This trim is also across the back and up the front to the collar. Below the yoke embroidery is tiny gathers also on both front and back which makes for a pigeon type front. The sleeves are slightly puffed ending with the embordered trim and tiny mop buttons. These same tiny carved mop buttons start just below the embroidered trim to the waist band 10 in all. The waist band is plain and does up with an eye and hook.

Measurements - neck 12.5,   bust  to 35,  waist 22, 23 total length of waist band,   shoulders seam to shoulder seam 13 inches, at back across embroidered yoke is 11.5 inches, length is 15 inches, length of sleeve is 24 inches,  armhole across 7 inches, and cuff is 7.5 inches.
Condition is very good. Pinhole on sleeve.
