  • Condition: Dress #1 (Photos #2-8): Tagged as "HAND MADE IMPORTED." 3 buttons on the back side with a slight fabric separation in the back of the collar relative (as in 1:00 o'clock) to the sewn in tag noted. Smocking is inter-woven with the accent embroidered collar and the short sleeves are also decorated with embroidery and lace. Garment is in fine shape sewing and structure wire and shows some wrinkling from long term storage. Nice for babies dress up or doubles as a vintage doll outfit. Probably pre-1950's. Dress #2 (photos #9-12) is similar (see Narrative) and is also in same shape.

    2 Vintage Infant Doll Dress Lace Accented Short Sleeve Embroidered & Versatile
    Dress #1 (photos #2-8):  The lace accented "abbreviated" short sleeve design and light weight fabric make for a warm season garment or usable as a night garment. The center detailing of the front panel is intricately stitched lace. The dress closes on the back with a well crafted 3 button alignment. The embroidery and lace on the front of the collar are a perfect compliment to the smocking on the front of this dress.
    Both garments have similar measurements: Measures close to 16” (photo #4) from collar to hem and 12” (photo #3) from armpit to armpit, laying flat; size is not designated; it equates to about a child size 12.
    Dress #2 (photos #9-12):
    Dress #2 has been added to the original dress #1 offer (.95) and price raise accordingly to make for a true value for the two dress combo. It appears to be the same size as dress #1 and it also has the "Handmade" tag affixed.
    Material is cotton, which is best described as "a breathable and lusciously soft but durable material"....as in a everyday warm season dress. The delicate embroidery is well executed.
    These are Lovely & Cozy dresses that also double as a snazzy doll outfits!
