Vintage Ludwig and Ludwig with Oval White label, Matching serial numbers
White Marine Pearl. Nickel Hoops. Extremely unique and rare.
Stamped Serial Number 5103. (March 1951). The hardware and oval Elkhart Indiana logo indicates it’s late 1940s, these drums would have been built right before the change to Leedy/Ludwig in 1951.
Sale includes Snare, Tom, and TWO kick drum shells.
Snare
14x6”. 9/10 condition.
Sounds incredible. Looks fantastic.
Wrap is all in once piece. Small crack near seam.
Tom
9.75/10 Condition. Original Pinned Calfskin resonant head. Requires a bit of finesse to tune it to modern standards. The tension rod lug is threaded and lower tension rods could be added with a hoop.

6/10 Condition.
Deep punchy tone. every drummer to play this kit for the last 70 years has loved it.

Has Holes drilled in for accessory mounts
Genuine 1940’s shell and wrap intact.
