    Description

This is an antique GSB steam bent wooden coffin/casket style violin case from approximately 1870.  The hardware is in good condition.  "Original GSB Improved" is imprinted on the bottom.
    Measures approximately 31 x 9 1/2 x 4.
The violin is an Antonius Stradivarius copy made in Germany.  I have removed the hardware to show better photos of the violin and so that nothing gets damaged in shipping.  I will make sure that it is well-padded so that nothing is damaged in shipping and will provide photos as I package it to see that it meets with your approval.  It will be insured.
The bow is included, but I don't see markings on it to help identify it for you.  I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT VIOLINS, BUT I'LL ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY.  Please see the photos, which are considered to be part of the description of these items.
If you want additional photos or information, I'll do my best to provide that for you.
It belonged to Joseph Albert Foltz (1851-1929), my 92-year-old mother's grandfather.
